Queeried Goes For A Drink With Vitamin Water i-Focus. Was It Love At First Taste?

Normally we’re all about writing about everyone else but for this post I want to tell you a little story about what happened to Queeried last Friday.

It was the start of the working day. It had been a long hard week (well okay it had been the same length as every other one it just felt long) and personally having started a new running regime that had seen me up and out at 5.30am, I was feeling a little (take that to mean a lot) weary and dehydrated.

All I really wanted was to curl up in a ball at my desk and fall fast asleep. I didn’t have a lamp to rub and there were no stars in the sky so I decided instead to wish upon my gel pen to get me through the day.

You’re expecting me to tell you nothing happened right?

Wrong.

Just as I was ending my wish for a replacement me and a sexy masseuse the office doorbell rang. Surely my wish hadn’t managed to come true that fast? Well actually it had, but not in quite in the way I’d imagined. My replacement and masseuse actually being 18 bottles of Vitamin Water’s brand new Kiwi and Strawberry i-Focus drink, and a rather fetching pair of pink Aussiebum pants that promptly ran away with a gay man.

Now if you were in London this weekend, you’ll have noticed that Vitamin Water is definitely a friend of the LGBT community being all over Pride this weekend. Add to this it’s latest drink is a fetching gay pink and they’re doing well in  the gay bonus points stakes, but as you know Queeried isn’t one to hold back on what we think, so what was it really like? Were we forced to spit it out as soon as we took a sip.

Well I have to say my personal and rather hard to please opinion was it was pretty darn gorgeous. A mix of kiwi fruit and strawberries, this fruit flavoured still water drink isn’t just good looking and tasting though. With vitamins also thrown into the mix it’s also meant to make you more focused too whether it does or not I’m not really sure, but being easily influenced I did go around telling everyone I suddenly felt so much brighter after drinking it…

Would I recommend you try it. Well unless you hate water, strawberries or kiwis then yes, but I don’t expect you to be so easily convinced so here are Queeried’s Five Reasons To Love Vitamin Water’s i-Focus.

1. It’s Packaging

We like to think we’re clever with our words. Annoying Vitamin Water is even cleverer. I don’t want to spoil the surprise though, go check one out in the shops and you’ll see what we’re on about.

2. It’s Cuddly Flavour

i-focus isn’t a flavoured drink, it’s flavoured water. Usually that means that the water tastes of nothing. In the case of i-focus it’s different. You still get the clean, fresh taste of the water, but with a gorgeously smooth cuddly kiwi and strawberry flavour to the end.

3. It Cares

On top of keeping Pride hydrated this weekend, Vitamin Water also cares about the world very sweetly asking you to recycle their bottles with the words “30 may be the new 20, but green is definitely the new black, pleae recycle”. How could you say no!

4. It’s Possibly Gay

Okay I’m not sure it’s actually gay, but let’s consider the facts. i-Focus sounds like a masculine name, i-Focus is pink. i-Focus could therefore possibly be a gay.

5. It’s Definitely Bisexual.

So I’m definitely a lot more sure about this one. Why? Well because it’s has both men and women in the Queeried office interested in it and we can tell you there weren’t any protests from it when either sex tried to pick it up…
