New Study Shows Lesbian Parents Are Better Than Heterosexual Parents
Research by The National Academy for Parenting Practitioners has angered traditional family supporters after it’s findings found that children, far from being at a disadvantage, prosper when raised by two women. Speaking at the launch of think tank Demos, Stephen Scott, the director of research at the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners spoke of how the study showed their children not only having higher career aspirations, but also more confidence in fighting for social justice, and went as far as to say “Lesbians make better parents than a man and a woman.”
Feeling that the research, which has been funded by the government, has only been done to indulge the gay and lesbian community, groups including Fathers4Justice believe that it has only acted to further marginalise fathers with a spokesman telling the Daily Express that “this Government has introduced a new gender apartheid where fathers are marginalised and excluded from their children’s lives whereas other types of parent are celebrated and promoted. ‘Father’ has become the new ‘F’ word.”
Also showing that their children showed no more tendencies towards homosexuality than those who had heterosexual parents, these research will undoubtedly be welcomed by lesbian couples who have said they’ve experienced discrimination when trying to adopt or have children via sperm donations.
