Drawing from as early as he can remember, Marc Johns is an illustrator, who describes himself as both a traditionalist and minimalist.

Unafraid to deviate from the comfort of paper or canvas, Johns draws on a wide variety of different surfaces, which include in the case of the Drawings on Paper Towels collection, paper towels and toilet paper in a Starbucks toilet.
