2. Anti Gay, Now Gay Senator Roy Ashburn Pushes Schwarzenegger To Veto Gay Marriage Bill

Senator Roy Ashburn has asked Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to veto a bill protecting clergy opposed to gay marriage telling the Governor and On Top magazine he felt it was wrong as it would create “second class” marriages for gays.

3.  Fox News Sink To A New Low With Guest Who Celebrates When People Die Of AIDS

Think that Fox News has got so awful it couldn’t sink any lower? Well it just did, with Change.org reporting on their decision to use Bob Enyart as a guest, the man who would read obituaries of people dying from AIDS on the television whilst playing “Another Ones Bites The Dust”. Great work Fox News.

4. When Will Football Tackle Homophobia?

Who Ate All The Pies moved away from general football news to look at the issue of homophobia and raises the question of why so much has been doing concerning racism but little, if  anything is being done to combat the issue of homophobia.

5. Gay Rights Activist Peter Tatchell Gets Standing Ovation At Christian Festival

The Pink News reports on how, after initial worries about the response he would get, Peter Tatchell got a standing ovation for his speech at the Christian arts festival, Greenbelt last weekend where he praised the “brave” Christians who stood up against persecution of the LGBT community.
