Graham Norton Reprimanded By BBC Execs For Being Homophobic

Television host and comedian Graham Norton has been reprimanded by executives at the BBC after a complaint was made about a joke he made on his show.

Showing a diagram of a patent for a  jump suit invention, which used an illustration of  a larger sized  woman with short hair, Norton had commented on her as a “strange lesbian”, something which one viewer complained about, deeming the joke to be homophobic.

The incident has now been investigated by The BBC, and has resulted in Norton and his production team being warned off reinforcing sexual stereotypes that could be deemed as offensive.
