A definite must watch, this video shows a beautiful speech made by a World War II veteran, on April 22nd 2009,  supporting Maine’s marriage equality bill. Speaking of how he went to war to fight for this very issue – that which allows us all to be different, but at the same time equal, he always speaks very passionately about how he des not accept that out of his four sons, only three should be allowed a full set of rights, and one not, simply because he was gay.

And perhaps the most moving part of all has to be this:

The woman at my polling place asked me do I believe in equality for gay and lesbian people. I was pretty surprised to be asked a question like that. It made no sense to me. Finally I asked her: what do you think I fought for in Omaha Beach?
