BREAKING NEWS : Gay Television Presenter Kristian Digby Found Dead In Flat
Sky News have reported that the gay television presenter Kristian Digby has been found dead in his flat in South East London.
Known best for his presenting of programmes such as To Buy or Not To Buy, Digby was pronounced dead at his flat in Richford Road, Newham, east London, this morning when the ambulance crew arrived.
Scotland Yard have now announced that ‘Police were called to reports of a body of a man in his 30s found at an address in Richford Road, E15.
‘Ambulance services attended and life was pronounced extinct. Next of kin were informed and we await formal identification.
‘There will be a post-mortem at 12 noon at East Ham mortuary.’.
Alongside presenting Double Agents, Living In The Sun, House Swap and Buy It, Sell It, Bank It, Digby also presented The Gay Show on BBC Choice, and was also featured in Simon Fanshawe’s The Trouble with Gay Men where he spoke on about the lack of gay role models.
Relatives have neen informed of his death and Newham CID are now investigating the “unexplained circumstances of his death”
Coming from a family of property developers, Digby was not only a property expert but also a film director who won the Melbourne Film Festival Best Student Film in 1998 for his short film Last Train to Demise and a junior Bafta in 1997 for Words of Deception.
