Beverley Knight Proves She’s A Soul Survivor With An Amazing New EP And Tour

Not content with having only gone and won Celebrity Mastermind last month, the gorgeously talented Beverley Knight then flew off to Dubai to play an amazing gig and now, back home, is raring to go with part two of her UK tour in April.

And whilst this might lead many of us to think now would be the perfect time to sit back and have a rest, Ms Knight is far too full of energy to do that, and is instead filling her weeks with TV, radio, press appearances… oh and her third single.

Entitled “Soul Survivor“, the single, co-written by Beverley with Guy Chambers, comes from Beverley’s 6th critically acclaimed studio Album “100%” and is a defiant, old-skool stomper of a track that not only features Knight, but also soul legend Chaka Khan. Talking about the track, Beverley said:

“When me and Guy first wrote this song I recorded it alone initially, but I knew there was another dimension to it – and Chaka was that dimension! She’s incredible. Everyone knows there are ebbs and flows in a career in the music industry. That’s what this song is about. People fall in and out of favour all the time. The thing that gets you through is the love of what you do.”

The single will be released as part of an iTunes exclusive The Soul Survivor EP , which alongside featuring Soul Survivor will also include the stunning track “Turned To Stone” and live tracks for her autumn leg of the tour which include “Gold Chain”, “100%” and a truly incredible version of “Bare” that is guaranteed to pull on your heart strings with the stunning piano and voice arrangement.
