3.1 Phillip Lim Brings Out New Edgy Tiger Inspired Collection That’s Driving Men Wild
Whilst we have to admit that we find having to add the numbers 3.1 in front of Phillip Lim a little bit annoying (take that to mean a lot annoying) it really is pretty darn hard to find anything else to criticse about this menswear label.
A relative newcomer to be fashion scene, Phillip Lim toddled onto the scene with his first menswear collection in 2007 and has not only been picking up big name fans like Kevin Jonas, Nico Tortorella and model Baptiste Giabiconi, but also some big award nominations from the Fashion Fund Awards, CFDA Swarovski Awards and the Vogue Fund Awards.
However Lim isn’t the kind of guy to let such success go to his head and just sit back and turn out the same thing season after season. No this is a man passionate about innovation seen by his new edgy 2010 knitwear collection which is currently seeing the stylish men of this world tripping over themselves to get hold of it.
Having something of an animal theme about it, the collection is made up predominantly using a Tiger design in a Grey or Sandstone colour in a cardigan or jumper, knitted out of some of the finest merino wool that will ever have had the pleasure or touching your skin, and are definitely one of those classic pieces that you’re going to still be wearing when you’re a (very stylish) granddad.
Of course being 3.1 Phillip Lim they’re not cheap with the collection starting from £225.00 but come on let’s be honest would they be so darn desirable if just anyone could buy them…
